Description
Cassini™ takes its inspiration from Saturn's rings and its name from the NASA space probe. An integrated LED panel and two white diffusers provide soft, comfortable light. The upper panel creates an atmospheric glow above the shade, while the lower panel illuminates the space below. The LED panel can be dimmed with an external dimmer. Danish designer Jacob Rudbeck studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts.
The designer explains: “The quiet moment when a raindrop meets the surface of the water and creates ripples inspired me to design Cassini. The design evolved into a simple, minimalist form resembling Saturn's rings, which led me to name the light Cassini™.”
The collection comes in two sizes for a variety of interiors. Cassini Mini works above a dining table, using several lights to suit its size, as well as above a kitchen counter or in a hallway or bedroom.
Supplied with an integrated LED panel, black cable and black metal ceiling canopy.
The manufacturer provides a 10-year warranty on the light.
Design: Jacob Rudbeck, 2020.
