Nordic Tales

Nordic Tales is a unique Danish brand with roots in Aarhus, Denmark's second largest city. Her fascinating journey began in 2012 at the X Institute, the cradle of her first creative projects. It was there that the debut series of Nordic Tales was born, launched in the same year, which included the iconic Bright Sprout lamp, made of beautiful oak wood.

All the brand's designs are distinguished by the clear simplicity of form, the sophisticated use of the highest quality materials and the spirit deeply rooted in Scandinavian aesthetics. Nordic Tales lamps exude a unique charm and perfectly harmonize with the space, it is no different at the home airport of Aarhus, where they delight with their beauty.

The Scandinavian winter, which lasts long and is surrounded by darkness, makes us spend most of our time indoors. This creates a unique need for adequate lighting, and since the invention of the light bulb, the constantly improved modern lamp serves to ensure ideal lighting conditions in our homes.

The lighting area is one of the fastest evolving and innovative areas in the field of design. Over the past ten years, the world has gone from traditional light bulbs, which were mainly spherical, to LEDs, which come in a variety of colors, shapes and with a variety of built-in artificial intelligence systems. This new technology opens up a space for completely new archetypes that we are looking for within our Scandinavian lamps.

Modern lamps today are much more than just light sources; traditional lighting concepts in the context of perfect lighting are undergoing a fascinating redefinition and are the subject of intense debate.
