This was the case with the founders of the Zangra brand - architect Eve Van Dyck and designer Thierry Donnay. The fascination with porcelain switches, sockets and frames that they saw in the La Maison Blanche restaurant from 1850 not only started their adventure with design for good, but also inspired them to create something more.

Shape formation

The black and white lamp holder, which then attracted the eyes of Belgian enthusiasts with its minimalist design and elegance, became the impulse to create a lamp that had two goals: to pay tribute to the design of the time and to meet modern standards in terms of quality and safety. Eve and Thierry began to design more porcelain models - from rosettes and frames to ready-made pendant lamps, and gathered their creative activities under one brand. This is how the unique style of the Zangra brand was born.

Over time, Zangra became a distributor of technical porcelain, and then, together with other manufacturers from Europe, decided to launch models of lamps that had not been produced for decades.
