Warsaw Home&Contract 2021 - report from the UMMO stand

We will remember the Warsaw Home&Contract 2021 fair for a long time to come. Four days full of the best design, fantastic people and... hard work :) After a two-year break caused by the pandemic, I think we all felt a longing for face-to-face meetings (even hidden behind a mask ;)) and conversation without the mediation of any technology. The crowds that turned up at the WH event are the best proof of this. This year's trade fair was special for us. All of the proceeds from the sale of lamps from the exhibition go to the account of Jasio Bohater at Siepomaga.pl. For our team, the fair had already started a few months earlier. During this time, we were accompanied by constant uncertainty as to whether the event would be thwarted by another wave of coronavirus. It was not without surprises in our workshop. The streaks visible on the large lampshades prepared for the exhibition were not the result of a defect. Our manufacturer had just run out of a batch of milky spheres, so we used transparent ones of the same colour and strength. The filament in the lampshade created a beautiful play of shadows, so there's no such thing as a bad thing ;)

We set off for Warsaw just a few days before the official start to build our stand. Hours of hard work paid off - a huge number of visitors said we had the nicest display in the lighting department. This year we presented as many as 95 UMMO lamps, including several new collections: TORNI, FURIKO, FUPPU and TABLO. Some of our most popular models also saw the light of day in a refreshed version - in deep maroon.

The reception exceeded our wildest expectations. We handed out more than 1,000 catalogues, heard hundreds of warm words and exchanged dozens of business cards. Some of the visitors were surprised to learn that we are a Polish brand and not an Italian one. There were so many people eager to buy some of the lamp models on display that we had to create a queue in case someone cancelled their booking. Our stand was visited by, among others, Tomasz Pągowski, the Elle Decoration Polska team, Ann.Living and many great architects and interior stylists. It was fantastic to see our industry friends and clients. It was nevertheless gratifying to make new contacts, not only business ones :) We hope that many of them will result in a number of excellent collaborations and beautifully lit interiors.

Most importantly, thanks to your help, we have added a significant amount to the collection for Jas the Hero. Now the boy will be able to go to Bangkok for a stem cell transplant and will also undergo hip surgery. The target has been reached by more than 100%, and this is not the end of the collection. Johnny's family has many more expenses, which is why we have extended the campaign, in which we sell models from our stand at the fair, with all proceeds going to the Little Hero. You can still buy all the lamps from our stand at a 30% discount until 14 November 2021, thus supporting Jas and his parents. The boy's mother sent us a message that made our hearts even warmer than all the compliments we heard at the fair:
