May in the garden smells of lilacs and azaleas. Blooming vegetation and sunny weather make it difficult to stay indoors. Unfortunately, we can't always enjoy the charms of nature outside. In such cases, potted plants are an excellent substitute for lush greenery outside the window. Contemporary design caters to the needs of flower enthusiasts and lovers of stylish lighting. Flowerpot lamps have been a real hit in recent seasons. In this text, we will take a closer look at the most interesting lighting proposals in this category. Let's get started!
Hanging flowerbed lamps
Is there anything more beautiful than green plant shoots hanging above your head? If you believe there isn't, hanging lamps with space for plant pots will be the best solution for you. In the Markslojd collections, you will find lighting options that can hold even several pots, such as the round Plate lamp or the rectangular Tray lamp. If you want to accommodate more shades at different heights, a larger fixture from the Tray series will work better. It will fit perfectly in minimalist apartments in a white version, while the black version will complement loft-style arrangements. However, remember to choose lighter pots (plastic instead of clay or ceramic) when placing more than 1-2 of them.
Another interesting option is the Kukkia collection by Thoro brand. In the case of the model with four spotlights, we have the possibility to distribute small plants pointwise - on each spotlight. Climbing plants such as ivy, peperomia, or dischidia complement this type of lighting beautifully.
Wall lamps for pots
Greenery literally emerges from the walls together with wall lamps with planters. This type of sconce is credited to the aforementioned Markslojd brand. Our favorite option is the Pablo lighting in the form of a frame, which highlights the plant doubly - with light and geometric shape. A single model is sufficient for one shade. Lamps from this collection look most spectacular when grouped together. If your plants are lush, they will emerge from the fixture like colors from a Pablo Picasso painting.
In the Botanica collection by Kaspa brand, created with plant enthusiasts in mind, wall sconces couldn't be missed. Simple and elegant fixtures with two milky shades will illuminate the room and the green companion, for which they reserve a significant amount of space :) Two universal colors to choose from - black or white - make the lighting blend into various types of arrangements and spaces - including commercial ones, such as restaurants or hotels.
Fans of gold and glamorous style should pay attention to the Multi lamp-shelf by Markslojd. Not only does it provide space for small plants, but it also allows us to charge our phones thanks to the USB socket integrated into the fixture. A true 2 or even 3-in-1 feature :)
Table and floor lamps for plants
Flower lamps can also take the form of table and floor lamps. Both types of lighting can be found in the Botanica collection mentioned earlier. With the help of this series, you can create cohesive lighting throughout the room. Desk lamps and floor lamps have a twin appearance but come in different sizes. The XL version can accommodate a really large plant pot. Importantly, the light from the shade beautifully illuminates the plant and highlights it in the interior. Botanica table lamps shimmer in various colors, almost like flowers in a meadow :) In addition to classic black and white, you will find models in colors such as yellow, red, green, and gray. The floor lamp variant is available in standard monochromatic shades with a metal or glass shade.
Among the novelties of UMMO, there is a new model from the Hanea collection, i.e. Hanea ST (black and white). The luminaire with a small metal shelf will work well as a stand for a tiny plant or a decorative vase. An elegant lampshade next to a decorative pot creates a double decorative effect.
We hope that you have easily gone through the thicket of plant-friendly lighting with us and now you know which model will meet the needs of you and your interiors. So, are we playing green?
